A beautiful Ross blade- knapped from a great piece of Novaculite. Great percussion work on this one with minimal pressure for the edge work. Beautiful, translucent material with some subtle banding- really glows when backlit. Also difficult material to knap cleanly- have to be super careful with flake terminations so you dont end up with a million little hinges. I was really happy with how this one turned out! |
