'I did make purposeful striking on these flints'

Aaniin, Hello, my name is Gabriel Essaunce Lamarche,
I'm a descendant of Chief Little Shell of the Ojibwe Otter Clan,
I'm an archaeology student, at the University of Saskatchewan, and a knapper.

The proceeds of any piece you may buy goes towards helping my student budget, or acquiring new materials, and is therefore greatly appreciated.

Being in Canada, my shipping prices may be higher than US knappers, and I often use materials which are quite rare, or essentially unseen in the US, and so for those who appreciate the unique aesthetics of new stones, I think you will enjoy some of my work.

I am always happy to produce custom pieces, I like a new challenge. If you'd like anything in particular, I'd be happy make it for you.

The title of this 'gallery' is an Ojibwe word for a kind of lance/spear, traditionally used in some hunting, and war, and certain ceremonies. My favourite tools to make are the earliest stone spear point styles which were used on this continent; and so that word is, for me, special.

Thanks for having a look!
