Susquehanna Woodland Designs

I live in Central New York State and got my start collecting authentic points in the plowed fields around where I live. I have been flintknapping since 2001 specializing in many Northeastern point styles using authentic Northeastern materials like Esopus, Onondaga Chert, Normanskill Chert, and Pennsylvania Jasper. Not wanting to limit myself, I also can knap about any other point style found in the United States. My work is displayed at the San Diego Zoo, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and The California Museum.

All of my knapping work is by percussion. I do not as a rule do any flake over grinding work.

Though flintknapping is my passion, I also make fine reproduction pottery vessels, ground stone items, arrows, knives, spears, and trade era tomahawks, pipe tomahawks, and knives. Come take a look, I am sure you will find something that interests you. You may also place special orders as a few of my museum customers have by sending me an email at mike@susquehanna-wd.com.

I accept Paypal, personal checks, or money orders.

Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail with most points being $6.00 (United States Only). All other items will be different depending on size, length, weight and country where purchaser lives. Feel free to email me for a shipping quote.
