My name is Rick Bauer and I live in NE Pennsylvania and I've been knapping for almost 35 years. I've always enjoyed surface hunting for Native American artifacts and took an interest to the recreation of the art with a modern spin. Most of my work is pressure flake or flake over grind (FOG) and I enjoy trying to push limits and make very long knives in a variety of materials, colors and patterns.
