I have been knapping for over 25 years. Started at the age of 10. I knap primarily with solid copper headed boppers and copper tipped pressure flakers although I am able to use antler with some proficiency. I can duplicate almost any kind of point with the exception of a few. Most of what I do is from raw rock to biface to point although I do some slab work on the rarer materials but usually try to do percussion slabs verses pressure. I have been collecting knappable stone for about 12 years and selling it for over 10 years. I generally have many varieties of Texas stone, most notably Pedernales Ameobas and Georgetown flint, but also occasionally carry others when I am able to get them in large enough quantities.
