Hi, I'm Willie McClure. I've been flintknapping for about 7 years now. I retired from being a general contractor this year, so I have a lot more time to pursue my hobbies. I spend a lot of my day chipping away.
I have been improving my skills in flaking and notching. I've been having fun making new types of arrowheads.
Recently I started making knife blades and knives with antler handles.
It's a new challenge and I enjoy creating one of a kind knives.
I have each knife mounted on an clear acrylic stand. (It is removable) The stand is custom altered for the knife to fir securely and included in the sale. These knives are made for display. They are not designed for actual use. We display ours in a hutch to protect it and display the beauty of it.
