This one will make a really nice looking knife ensemble! I’ve made this from a slab of Wormy American Chestnut wood, & then flamed it to a deep, rich, darkened, aged appearance. As you can see in the pictures, the flaming removes a little of the softer wood & the annular growth rings remain….leaving a beautiful and textured grip. I’ve made it even more classy with the inlay of a copper lanyard hole liner. It is 5 ¼” long, & is pre-slotted & shaped for a blade. All is buffed & polished to perfection.
