Both John Pitts, and the late Jeff Capron have used the expression "rare as hens teeth" when describing Pasco Agatized Coral like this to me. Must be a southern expression, but I have to concur. I've spalled down over 300 pounds of coral since I began knapping, and this Toyah comes from a flake off of the only nodule I've ever cracked open like it. The nodule is no bigger then my palm. I'll try to get as many points as I can from it. Incredible color and preservation, in this very nicely flaked Toyah. I feel obligated to include a floating frame for free with this stunner.
