A stunning contrast of black and white. This knife blade was flintknapped from Dacite. It is a beautifully serrated Kirk corner-notch that is thin and sharp. The handle and stand are made from a single deer metatarsal (leg tibia bone) cut in half. Both were sanded to a porcelain smooth finish and left natural. The blade has been fixed to the handle with epoxy putty and hafted with dyed imitation sinew. The handle is smooth and balanced with beautiful, long, natural horse hair jetting out from the back. The wood base has a glossy black finish to match the shine on the blade.
