Here's an eccentric that I created in celebration of my sons 2 successful brain surgeries last week! He is doing great!!!
I knapped this unique eccentric from heat treated Texas chert, and as always signed and dated it with a diamond tipped scribe, making it a collectible piece of art. Each eccentric I flintknap develops as I chip it, and is always a reward to see completed. With this one I particularly love the aesthetics as well as the translucency when back lit.
This eccentric will always remind me of this difficult, but triumphant time!!!
