And now for something completely different, to quote Monty Python.This southwest style point is what is called a Socorro point. They are found from northern Mexico into New Mexico. They have sharp barbs that curve inward and often sport a needle tip, and are bigger than arrow points so they were actually dart points. This one is made out of some banded Columbia plateau Jasper. Always fun to try something a little different now and then. Variety is the spice of life right? |
