To quote Monty Python, "and now for something completely different". This is southwestern style San Bruno point, a type found down into the Mexico Baja area. Not tried one of these before so I was pleased with this first one out of the chute. Material is pigeon blood agate with red in the tip area but a mostly clear body. I laid this down on the page in the Overstreet artifact type book for comparison as you can see in the last photo. This was actually kind of tricky to do almost like a Hohokam point. So, for you SW point fans, here you go..... |
