A nice St Charles Dovetail out of Burlington, by well-known flint knapper, Jeff Gower. Jeff is one of the best commercial flint knappers in the U.S., meaning he made a living at flint knapping, and maybe still does. It’s a nice replica and was knapped over 20 years ago. The color is cream. We purchased the Dovetail from Jeff at the White River Knap-in, Oct 1997. Knapped Oct, 1997. Inv # 9710-215R |
