Went back down and dug some more Somerset Black (Mercer/Coshocton) whatever you want to call it. I call it killer Ohio Black rock. I chipped this peice with antler,parallel flaking,minimum edge work, nice convex on both sides and the base is heavily ground 1/3 the way up. The thinner flakes held to the light look like Moss Agate and the rock is Blackish Brownish Green. |
