I found some pics of a cache of 15 points from a snake town Hohokam excavation recently. They all obviously made by the same guy and probably for a votive offering of some sort. These points are almost the longest and absurdly skinny tipped ones I've ever seen and this one isn't an exaggeration of the originals. So, of course I had to make one. The material is a reddish tan jasper from an undetermined source which flaked well but was sort of ornery. It fun every now and the to come across some new things one's not seen previously and give it a go..
