This point is a copy of the design of a point that I found when I was a boy. It was actually a point napped from quartzite that I found in northeastern Tennessee. This point is snapped from snake River agate and has good color and dendrites. The point actually had two small notches in the base in addition to the side notches. I’ve never seen another point like it and I wanted to make this one to remind me of it. The concave sides on the point reminded me of a short tooth when I found it and I’ve always called it the shark tooth point. It’s a fairly large spare point with great with. |
