This serrated Cahokia point is of the unusual type found in mound 72. It has the sweeping curved edges and deep serrations and needle tip. This one is made from a piece of colorful bluish green and orange tinged flint ridge. The colors are a bit darker and more intense than the photo shows. This one had some crystal seams that made it ornery to tip toe the serrations around These points are actually rather tricky to make. This one is a bit bigger than the last one I made. |
