I saved the best for last...This killer Hohokam point is made from a really pretty piece of red Aussie Mookite jasper with white banding running through it here and there. I tried to make this one to look more like the old originals as it seems to be popular these days to make them in a particular style that isn't that close to the originals. Artistic license is ok as I alter things as well but this one I think came out more like the old ones look. This one is extra long and was a pain to make....kind of like defusing a bomb. |
