To quote Monty Python; "And now for something completely different". Every now and then its fun to do something I normally don't make and the Eastern Pine Tree point was what I decided to make out of this ketchup red piece of Oregon jasper. I percussion flaked this one down from a heat treated piece from scratch and finished it up with pressure. These must of been gut ripping points to get hit with on the end of an atlatl dart! So, for all you eastern point fans, here's one from a western boy. |
