This nice ruby red Wintu is made out of a piece of deep red colored glass. I got to see a number of original Wintu points that were made of glass quite late in time. Some of them are exquisite little things with expanding notches and the usual Wintu point traits. I think the old guys liked making points out of colorful glass as some of them are little works of art This one sports expanding notches and a needle tip. |
