This point is a variant of the Northern Side notch style. This big boy has serrated edges, a needle tip, expanding "key hole" notches and is made from a piece of Glass Buttes banded rainbow obsidian. The color in this piece is somewhat subdued but shows a little in the pics. And yes, they really have found points like this at Crump Lake Oregon. Its diamond signed with my "SA" log as are all my points. |
