Many call them primitive knives. I like to think of it as blending ancient with modern to come together collectively and form these lithic art pieces.
My knapping flakes are even and parallel. but more importantly is the sharp, fine edge to center flaking that sets a few artist apart in their knapping outcome.
My blades will cut leather because they are sharp, and their beauty is obvious.
Midnight Lace is what the locals call the obsidian blade while others call it triple flow or even mahogany lace; I go with what the locals taught me 27 yrs ago. The bone handle is made from a naturally shed mule deer antler and is solid. |
