A pretty Plainview out of heat-treated Sunset Jasper, from Oregon. It was made by Steve Behrnes, a master flint knapper from Louisiana, who makes beautiful points found in the Western US. The point is yellow with red accents. It has Steve’s signature wavy flake pattern, which can be seen by turning the point on its side to look at the edge work. We purchased the Plainview from Steve in Nov, 2001 at his knap-in. Knapped Nov, 2001. Inv # 0111-58R. Diamond scribed: SB 01 |
