This is one really nice knife. Very Unique and one of the nicest I have ever made. It is 12 3/4 inches long and this nice and very large blade has been knapped out of a very nice triple flow obsidian. This handle is a nice elk antler piece with a walnut end cap and a nice bull elk in a snow storm painted in water color. I love painting a scene on the sanded parts of the elk antler. I have sanded a strip on the backside of this handle and have signed and dated it. The sanded parts of the antler also contrast so nicely with the darker walnut and obsidian. This base is walnut and is 14 inches long and 2 7/8 inches wide. It has a nice deer antler fork to cradle the handle while the blade rest securely in a notched antler piece. This piece is beautiful and one of a kind. This knife would be such a unique addition to the flint knapping collection or to resell at a pow wow or rendezvous. The blade has been hafted to the antler handle with resins and artificial sinews.
