This point was made from a very tough piece of raw Kay County chert from Oklahoma. I used antler percussion with help from a hammerstone when I needed it. The flaking turned out quite well considering how gnarly this rock was to knap! The edges are sharp and the point is thick enough to be used, maybe for hog hunting...
