This Thebes has it all. It is made from a great piece of Flint Ridge chert. The base turned out great. I used an antler punch to notch this Thebes as I do all of them. This style has a concave base and the notches go in a little steeper than the classic Thebes variant. I finished off the edges with one series of resharpening giving the point a very slight bevel. The flaking is very clean and both sides are worthy of being displayed. This point is not waxed, so if you want even more color let me know. |
