This reproduction Hopewell Goose effigy pipe is made from Ohio Pipestone. The original pipe was found near Burlington Iowa at a Hopewell site and is 4 3/4" long. Larger than most Hopewell animal effigy pipes.
The eyes are made from Iowa Siltstone/Mudstone. |
