An eyeguard tine conveniently supports this 10-inch knife into a pleasing display angle. The 5-inch blade was knapped from hand-dug, eastern Oregon obsidian using percussion and pressure techniques. The handle is a mule deer antler and the blade is attached with epoxy and artificial sinew. A cat print was carved into the butt of the handle and filled with crushed synthetic opal. |
