Here's a good sized Parman type knapped from Oregon obsidian. Pretty much all percussion work on this one from a chunk of fine grained obsidian, maybe even a type of Dacite material. Just a little pressure work on the edges and tip. Fairly thin for it's size at just over a 1/4" at it's thickest. Real nice Great Basin type replica. |
