The Mayans are well known for their elaborate eccentrics. I have flintknapped this one with a Mayan flair to it, but still holding true to my personal style. Notice that this artistically chipped piece has my initials next to two dates. The earlier date is when I made the biface, and the later date represents the day I knapped the eccentric from the original biface ... a difference of 3 years!
