This Northern side notch is a type often found in Warner Valley in the Great Basin. It has expanded notches and fine serrations along the edge. I believe its made out of rainbow obsidian from the Lassen area in Northern CA. Its basically a green with pinkish bands and other hues running through it. The pics don't do it justice....as usual but they'll give you a basic idea. |
