I'm relisting this point and one other because a flake of a buyer has had nearly a month to pay tried to back out on part of what he committed to buy and still hasn't come through so here it is listed yet again. The rest of you sellers watch out for this weed. PM me for the name if you want. So, here it is again.Here's a nice obsidian Northern Side Notch point of the SE Oregon Warner valley style. Its made out of a piece of mottled red and black obsidian which is pretty in its own right but what's neat about this piece is it has a solid band of red right up the middle of it from base to tip on both sides. Its kind of an unusual piece of rock. I percussion flaked this out of a large spall then pressure flaked it to finish with expanding notches and serrated edges. These Warner Valley Crump Lake style points remind me of Wintu points on steroids only these were big dart points. I don't have any more of this kind of obsidian so please don't ask me to make another exactly like after the sale is over. Good luck! |
