A beautifully flaked Nodena by master flint knapper, Bob Thomas. This delicate willow leaf-shape blade is made from opaque white Novaculite from Arkansas. The Nodena Phase is an archaeological phase of the Late Mississippian Culture. The people were members of the Southeastern Ceremonial Complex. We purchased the point from Bob in Oct, 1999 at the White River Knap-in. Knapped Oct, 1999. Inv # 9910-55R
