indicative of the early throwers found in California and the style that most likely came with the first inhabitants of the Americas. minimally worked branch of mock plum with lashed on antler spur and hand ground boatstone. lashings are deer sinew and handle grip is rawhide, all coated in hide glue. this piece was done almost entirely with stone tools. fully functional or a great wall hanger. add a matching primitive dart (rabbitbrush mainshaft, flint head, two vane wild turkey fletching) for an additional $40 or three 6' tonkin cane sport darts for $50.
