This type of European Neolithic point comes from a site in SW Spain known as the Montelirio site which dates to about 3,000 B.C.. A number of these incredible hollow based long barbed points were found in a Mesolithic tomb which showed incredible craftsman ship. This is my first try at one of the larger varieties of these. This one is made out of flint ridge flint. Making one of these is like defusing a bomb. Its not fun. |
