One of my favorite point types is the fluted Clovis point. They are challenging to make and are a unique Paleo point type. One of my favorite materials to knap is Midnight Lace Obsidian, a beautiful, translucent volcanic glass. This one went okay on the first flute, but I decided to roll the dice with the second flute. I was going to run it far as it would go or sheer the point in two trying. It went almost to the tip! |
