This Crump lake style northern side notch is made out of some old Mexican rainbow obsidian I had stashed away. The old guys actually made points very much like this one. This has expanding notches, serrated edges and a sharp tip. I was going to photograph this in the sun, but it clouded over today so I had to use a bright lamp. This has various shades of greens, violet, and yellowish in it all swirled together and very colorful stuff. Wish it showed better in the pictures. I don’t have very much of this Mexican obsidian so when it’s gone, it’s gone.
