I was in kind of a great basin mood today so I made this. Its a really thin percussion flaked blade that is then notched and is finished around the edges with pressure retouch. These have been found in parts of Warner Valley and Crump Lake in particular. They were most likely hafted knives as they are often off set as the point and cutting edge angles off to one side. You could skin an elk with this one easily. Made out of jet black Oregon Obsidian.
