This is a large chunk of Dirty Rainbow from Glass Buttes Oregon. If your not familiar with Dirty Rainbow, It is a material predominantly made up of a greyish silver sheen with color bars dispersed throughout. Many people have refered to it as the velvet of Glass Buttes and much higher quality than other obsidians out there. Unfortunately, the camera just can't capture the true beauty of this material. This piece is rather large at 7" x 8" x 2 1/2" and weighs over 9 lbs.
