Over a foot long total length (12 ¼”), the blade is exceptional rainbow obsidian with bands of color throughout its length in bright light. The handle is a very dark green to black marble with light green streaks and a fleck of gray or two. The green streaks are remarkably symmetrical on both sides of the handle. I’m not a geologist, but I do know this stone was a LOT tougher to work than most other marble that I’ve worked- to the point that if a geologist says its kryptonite, I’d be inclined to believe it. Superman aside, it does make a nice handle. The blade is 7.25’ on the top. Price includes US shipping.
