This large piece is approximately 12 inches long. The 5 3/4" long blade which is 2 1/8" wide at its widest point, is made of Green Carrara Art Glass which is translucent. See the photo. The 6 1/8" long Handle is of a Real 4 year old Alligator head which has gone thru the Taxidermy process. The Head is solid with all teeth intact. The eyes are green glass. The blade is very nicely hand knapped using modern day flintknapping methods and secured with an Industrial Epoxy. The blade is flaked on the top side while the bottom side is flat...similar to how the Pre-Dynastic Egyptians manufactured their blades. The display is a large piece of wood which is finished with Tung Oil and is engraved with the word 'Gator' . This is truly a one of a kind unique piece.
