This long skinny Wintu style point is made out of Oregon sunset Jasper. This is some unusual stuff that’s got a lot of white in it which was actually hard to flake while the rest of the yellowish jasper tended to flake easier. This material looks like fossilized salt water taffy to me. Expanding notches, and skinny tip. I only have one other slab of this unusual material. |
