This colorful Wintu point is made from from a piece of jasper that is both yellow and reddish in color. It was sort of an ornery piece to flake as it was heat treated in an inconsistent manner but it worked out ok. The red and yellow streaking make for a dashing look. Key hole notches, skinny tip, classic N California Wintu form. |
