Sequoia points are found in the south central states and there were some much like this one that came out of the famous Oklahoma Spiro mound. They had coarse big serrations and nasty sharp tips. This one is made out of a piece of Oregon sunset jasper that is more of an "olive yellow" color than it is yellow. It was going to be something else but when one corner popped off I went with 'plan B' which turned out to be a pretty good plan after all if I do say so myself.... |
