I had a number of extra Columbia River points that I made for the Knapping calendar that didn't end up in the photo shoot so here's one of them. This is what is called a 'Quilomene Bar' point. They were a fair sized dart point with squarish barbs found all along the mid river region. This one is percussion flaked and pressure finished from a spall of banded yellow and red sunset jasper. The color washed out a bit in the digital pic for some reason, its actually a bit brigher than it shows..
