A unique and rare brecciated Flint Ridge Flint was used to knap this Jack's Reef point replica. Often when Flint Ridge presents a brecciated mass it is utterly impossible to knap through it, in this case the quartz line cemented the stone together allowing the flakes to transverse the face of the stone. Very cool example. Not signed or dated (possible Mike Santiago point). |
