Finally back from hunting and fishing for several weeks! This serrated Elko point is made out of what I think is called Indian Paint agate. The tip is a bright scarlet red although it seems to show up a bit dark in the photos. This is some pretty stuff and hard to get these days. Elko points are common in the great basin and many of them were beautifully made. |
