A heat-treated Burlington Hardin arrowhead. Some very fine flaking along the blade edges. This variety of Burlington chert is very colorful and has a nice waxy appearance and feel to the rock. Color transitions to a lighter shade of cream towards the base. Point also has micro-serrations.

Hardins are a popular style among collectors. These points were traditionally made by Natives during the Late Archaic period and date from 10,500-7,500 years B.P.

It measures at 4 7/8” x 1 3/4”
