This one is not just an arrowhead, but also a fossil! The palm wood has been replaced with chert, and displays the pores diagonally running through it. Palm trees are technically not trees, but plants more closely related to grasses and lillies. Additionally, palms do not have a true bark and the trunk is technically not wood, but a dense trunk laced with fibers. I love arrowheads, like this one, that hold interesting stories. I signed and dated it with a diamond tipped scribe.
