This is a gorgeous E-Notch in classic Ohio Flintridge flint, and the stone absolutely steals the show. Sweeping bands of burnt orange, caramel, and creamy white flow across the blade, meeting a striking pool of blue-gray chert near the tip — the kind of color variation that makes Flintridge one of the most sought-after knapping materials in North America.
At nearly 5 inches, this is a substantial piece with a well-executed E-notch, clean serrated edges, and a nicely tapered point. The flaking is tight and controlled throughout.
A real display piece — the color alone will turn heads in any collection. |
